      06/07/12	Main Street to Eighth Street: A Sinclair Lewis Film Festival Paramount Theatre Main Street to Eighth Street: A Sinclair Lewis Film Festival Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre June 7, 2012 As part of a Lewis Family Celebration in St. Cloud, June 7-9, the Paramount Theatre will host a film festival of films based on novels by Sinclair Lewis. A children’s reception/activity, organized by the Stearns History Museum, follows the first film, and receptions/introductions/discussions will occur between the feature films as well. 2:00 Disney's Bongo, 4:00 Arrowsmith, 6:00 I Married a Doctor, 8:00 Dodsworth
      06/25/12- 06/26/12	Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers Paramount Theatre Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre June 25-June 26, 2012 Over 50 years ago, Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin started singing in their little hometown of Abilene, Texas, and from there went on to make music history. Over the course of a four-decade career that has taken the Gatlin Brothers from dusty Texas stages to White House performances, from Broadway to Grammy Awards to the top of the country charts, there has been one unifying element, music. There's no harmony quite as pure as family harmony!

      07/10/12	Janie Fricke & the Roys Paramount Theatre Janie Fricke & the Roys Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre July 10, 2012 Janie Fricke was one of the most popular female country singers of the 80's, racking a string of hits and proving herself a versatile vocalist with a particular flair for ballads. She won the Country Music Association's "Female Vocalist of the Year" awards in 1982 and 1983.
      07/12/12	Pert Near Sandstone Paramount Theatre Pert Near Sandstone Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre July 12, 2012 In 2008, Pert Near Sandstone was hand-picked by Garrison Keillor to appear as the featured musical guest on A Prairie Home Companion where Garrison proclaimed that, “The group has become a force on the Minnesota roots music scene and beyond.” Pert Near Sandstone rejuvenates American stringband music with raw energy; they play tightly-crafted original material that lends itself to the modern audience, as well as being stewards of the old-time and bluegrass traditions.

      07/21/12	Soul Asylum Paramount Theatre Soul Asylum Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre July 21, 2012 Formed in the summer of 1981 by high school friends Dan Murphy, Karl Mueller, and Dave Pirner, Soul Asylum quickly became frontrunners of American college rock. In the early 90's their album Grave Dancers Union, which featured their Grammy winning song "Runaway Train", went double-platinum. This is Soul Asylum's first appearance at the Paramount Theatre and is not a performance to be missed!
      07/28/12	Tiptoe Through the 60's Paramount Theatre Tiptoe Through the 60's Presented by Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center at Paramount Theatre July 28, 2012 The Minnesota Historical Society, in partnership with the St. Cloud Public Library, presents “The 1968 Generation: Coming of Age in the Sixties”. A concert by two of Minnesota’s favorite performers, Prudence Johnson & Dan Chouinard, will be a highlight of this unique exhibit. This show will feature song, stories and images from a revolutionary decade!
