    Experience Level: Some prior experience required (Capacity: 20)

    Participants in this hands-on workshop will learn techniques for glazing pottery and producing majolica tiles. The emphasis will be on glazing in traditional methods. Tile making will be demonstrated and the history of majolica discussed. Students will work on bisque tiles and will be able to glaze and fire during the workshop. Karin Kraemer received a BFA in hot glass from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and an MFA in Ceramics from Southern Illinois University.
