Kirk DeHeer first started woodturning in Jr High school where Dale L. Nish had mentored his shop teacher. After years, away from woodturning he bought a used lathe and started turning soon beginning to sell his work through Art and Craft shows. He currently is a resident Instructor for Craft Supplies USA at the Dale L. Nish school of Woodturning and spends much of his time developing new products for woodturners.
