What is SongBlast? It’s all about great songs, wonderfully performed…and having a BLAST! Pat Balder and Glen Everhart have spent their lives writing, performing, and loving all genres of popular American music. Pat knows every rock ‘n’ roll classic through and through. Glen knows about every acoustic guitar-based hit ever to grade the airwaves. They combine the fun, always-involve-the-audience aspect of a dueling pianos act with powerful, super-tight vocal and guitar arrangements that leave audiences feeling SongBlasted!

    Pat Balder
Born and raised in the tiny town of Foley, Minnesota, Pat Balder is a self-taught and prolific musical talent who learned to sing and play guitar, piano, and drums by ear. After high school, Balder enrolled into St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he refined his natural talents and completed a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Classical Guitar Performance. Shortly after college Balder was signed to Polygram Records and Publishing where he served as staff songwriter and artist. He has also written and produced music for commercial and industrial projects for the likes of Target, Imation, 3M, Sun Country Airlines, Harley Davidson and many others.
Over the years Balder has logged thousands of performances on stages in Minneapolis/St. Paul (and its region), New York, Las Vegas, Nashville etc., fronting both his original band and mastering the covers of his favorite artists.

    Glen Everhart

Glen Everhart was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. His musical talents became obvious early in life as he learned to play guitar, piano, & harmonica on his own terms. While earning his B.S. degree in vocal music at St. Cloud State University he started a career as a solo singer/songwriter in area clubs.
In 1989 he began a ten year run in the popular original folk duo “Fyder & Everhart”. Together they recorded three CDs of original music. They travelled the country together performing at colleges and coffeehouses until 1999 when Glen launched his solo career as a combination of a musician and comedian.
Since 2000, Glen has performed over a thousand shows for businesses and fairs all across the U.S.
