Buffalo Community Orchestra and Buffalo Community Theater combine their talents for "Curtain Calls and More" to offer a concert of exuberant variety, with selections from popular American musicals and comic operas. Instrumental skills will be featured in a number of overtures including Leonard Bernstein's Candide, Arthur Sullivan's HMS Pinafore and the "Symphonic Dances" from Fiddler on the Roof. Half of the concert will be vocal selections from The Music Man featuring vocalists from Buffalo Community Theater . A Conductor Chat will be offered before the concert to highlight musical choices composers make when preparing light-hearted operas and musicals. A post-concert reception will complement the event and give audience members the opportunity to interact with BCO musicians and to offer feedback on the concert.

The Music Man Concert Selections feature the voices of:
    Bob Zahler as Harold Hill
    Maria Carpenter as Marian
    Kevin Lincicum as Marcellus
    Sam Carlson as Winthrop
Kevin Lincicum, Brad Hagen, Michael Walsh, and Tom Durant as the Barbershop Quartet
