The SCSU Choral Department will present the Big Sing Honor Choir Festival concert with guest conductor and professional choral ensemble, Matthew Culloton and The Singers—Minnesota Choral Artists at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th in Ritsche Auditorium at St. Cloud State University. Founded in 2004, The Singers organization is dedicated to giving world-class performances of thefinest choral literature. The Singers exists to serve as artists, educators, and ambassadors of the choral art. In 2010, The Singers performed a collaboration concert at the ACDA North Central Convention under the baton of Craig Hella Johnson. In March 2011, The Singers performed at the National Convention of the American Choral Directors Association in Chicago.
The concert will include performances by the SCSU Concert Choir, The Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota, The Singers—Minnesota Choral Artists and the Big Sing Festival Chorus — a select choir with over 250 singers from Minnesota and Wisconsin.

A portion of ticket proceeds go toward scholarships for music students at SCSU.
