KVSC 88.1 FM in partnership with the Pioneer Place on Fifth presents Granite City Radio Theatre. The live radio theatre show will air on KVSC 88.1 FM in front of a live audience from the historic Pioneer Place on Fifth Theatre in downtown St. Cloud.

Granite City Radio Theatre will be tipping its hat to everything Central Minnesota has to offer and then some. Comprised of a radio drama serial, live music, and various comedic sketches in-between, local professionals and students will be putting their best foot forward in this production that is sure to take the Granite City by storm.

Announcement: George Maurer to join December 12 performance of the Granite City Radio Theatre. Tickets are on sale for $5! Get your tickets early because the first performance sold out.

Writers, actors, musicians and various production artists are coming together in a collaborative effort to produce a quality show that will engage and celebrate the arts in our community. Muggsy Lauer will be serving as the Music Director of the production working in conjunction with Collective Unconscious to serve as the in house band.

“The Granite City Radio Theatre project is a wonderful opportunity to engage the community and KVSC to produce something very special and unique,” said Dan Barth, Executive Director of the Pioneer Place on Fifth. “I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this new project. KVSC is a vital part of our community and whenever we can engage and partner with them, it is such a win-win for all in terms of visibility, experience, and successful programming.”

The show will begin at 7:30pm, and we kindly ask that you stay in your seat once the ON-AIR sign is up, or wait to return to your seat until the next commercial break. Feel free to applaud, laugh at appropriate times, and there will be commercial breaks in which you can get up and visit the restrooms or refresh your drink.
