Often movies are based on plays, but this time the hilarious film has given birth to a musical comedy that will leave the audience members’ sides aching from laughter. We follow Seymour’s “horrific” adventures as he attempts to grow a man-eating plant that has a voracious appetite. A modern version of a Greek chorus comments on the rapid growth of Audrey, the plant from outer space, as characters mysteriously disappear, one by one.
