    As a part of this concert there will be two FREE open panels/Q&A with Jeremy Messersmith, Caroline Smith, Heather Allen from CMAB, Red House Records and more! These two panels will include discussion on making music a sustainable career, grant writing for individual artists, how to tour/promote your music independently, songwriting, music business, and any questions from the audience. These two panels are completely free, but you still must register so that we know you are coming! Both events will be held at the Paramount. You may register for one, or both of these FREE events.

    This event is sponsored by Minnesota Public Radio, 89.3 The Current, The Minnesota Music Coalition, Caravan Du Nord, the Central Minnesota Community Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

    The Minnesota Music Coalition’s “Caravan Du Nord” is a fiscal year 2012 recipient of an Arts Tour Minnesota grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
